PLAN Okanagan

PLAN Okanagan is dedicated to securing the future of people with disabilities in the Okanagan valley. Created in September of 2002, PLAN Okanagan is a not for profit society whose purpose is to create safe and secure futures in community for people with disabilities and their families. PLAN Okanagan provides families with peace of mind, ending isolation and loneliness, creating financial security, enabling everyone to make a contribution, ensuring choice and creating genuine homes. PLAN Okanagan’s work enhances quality of life and security of people with disabilities by building a safety net of diverse programs - secured networks of family and friends, increased financial independence, and avenues for true contribution and citizenship – that can withstand the death of their parents as well as unpredictable changes in government funded supports services.
